We see it as our mission to offer the latest and best models from trusted manufacturers so that our customers do not have to waste their money on poor quality products.

What are you going to do?

You are responsible for providing the insights that determine the decision-making process regarding e-commerce and marketing for our three web stores, of which VapoShop is the most important. You provide well-founded insights and recommendations to improve the performance of our online stores and to optimize the experience of our customers when shopping online. You support the management to determine its strategic direction and translate that to value for our customers.

Your work

  • Create consistent tracking, analysis and reports of core KPIs of our digital channels (website, social, e-mail) in daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboard formats (pageviews, clicks, conversions, etc.) that encourage effective business decision making
  • Provide statistics on traffic, orders, conversion, traffic sources, etc. to drive improvements in overall customer experience, online sales and margins
  • Analyze the performance and impact of performance marketing initiatives on online consumer behaviour, conversion and revenue
  • Monthly forecast of the KPI performance of the websites
  • Analyze clickstream data and segment site visitors to discover trends in visitor behaviour
  • Identify traffic and conversion trends, website abandonment issues and opportunities for improving site conversion
  • Work closely with the web development team in managing online checkout performance, conversion, testing and sales; plan and perform consumer feedback via A / B testing and site analysis to improve existing or proposed functionalities
  • SEO analysis and monitoring of the performance of important pages and keywords, providing useful insights to the content team on a daily basis.
  • Manage, maintain and take full ownership of all page tags and validate the quality of data recorded in the web analytics tool; specify site tagging requirements for (new) site content and functionality
  • Lead analysis projects for our marketing team to understand user behaviour and encourage higher sell-through of key items
  • Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in web analysis

Your qualities

  • You have at least one BA in a relevant field
  • You have 4-6 years of relevant work experience as a digital analyst with a track record of significant impact on the improvement of the customer experience
  • You are web & tech savvy and with a passion to manage business decisions with data and analyzes. You are convinced that this is the ultimate professional playground for the coming years!
  • You have excellent practical knowledge of web analysis tools, experience with Google Analytics and MOZ or SEO Powersuite is required, Adobe Marketing Cloud a big plus
  • You have knowledge of business intelligence (BI) environments
  • You understand web technologies, experience with Demandware is a plus
  • You have a thorough knowledge of digital data and analysis, including tracking methods, tagging of website pages, attribution models, dashboards and correlation analyzes; experience with tagging tools is a plus
  • You have proven experience in designing, performing and analyzing A / B and multivariate testing and on-site surveys
  • You have extensive knowledge of quantitative analysis concepts used in online, e-mail and search engine marketing
  • You have the proven ability to make analyzes understandable for larger target groups, to provide usable insights from analytical findings and to make clear recommendations to management
  • You are enterprising and enjoy working within a dynamic marketing team within a fun, multicultural company

What are you going to do?

You provide well-founded insights and recommendations with regard to web development, web software, migrations, investments and IT staff. You will also hold the role of Product Owner for the research and implementation processes that emerge from this.

You are responsible for both the strategic and the day-to-day decision making around our three e-commerce websites, including VapoShop. You not only manage a small but fast-growing team of developers according to the SCRUM methodology but also support the management to determine its strategic direction and to develop the value proposition for our customers.

On the one hand, you ensure that our e-commerce channels and platforms connect seamlessly with the latest developments. On the other hand, you have the role of the consumer. Helping visitors buying a  vaporizer plus accessories, with a minimum amount of clicks. 

Your work

  • Understand the customer through and through research (surveys, focus groups, analytics and testing)
  • Transforming what the customer wants in smart improvements for our websites and online customer contact
  • In consultation with a UX / UI designer, devise creative solutions for implementing new features and optimizing existing web pages
  • Gathering the good ideas of colleagues and customers, in fact: you stimulate these stakeholders to share with you even more
  • Estimate the costs and benefits of product improvement in order to arrive at a good priority list
  • Keep track of the product backlog and continuously coordinate it with the team;
  • Working within the SCRUM framework. Are you used to working in a more traditional structure? That is not a deal breaker if you are willing to learn it.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers and analysts to improve the UX of our webshops
  • Monitoring, managing and reporting on activities aimed at improving our conversion
  • Make estimates and roadmaps for important implementations, migrations and long-term projects
  • Advising and guiding the management in making strategic choices. Web software, migrations, investments and IT staff.

Your qualities

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in e-commerce
  • Demonstrable experience with SCRUM / Agile
  • Minimal HBO work and thinking level (or a dropout with serious skills)
  • Good in English in word and writing, good in Dutch is an advantage
  • Data-driven and analytical
  • You understand web technologies, experience with Demandware is a plus
  • You have excellent practical knowledge of web analysis tools
  • You are web, tech and business savvy and with a passion to manage technical and business decisions with data and analysis. You are convinced that this is the ultimate professional playground for the coming years!

What will you be doing?

You'll be helping us develop our in-house shopping platform. Because you'll be working on a small team the job will be varied, ranging from coding PHP to doing network maintenance or setting up DNS records and systems administration.

Of course, we expect you to be awesome at what you do. But besides all that, we think a cultural match is just as important. That you always face your challenges in a positive way, that you like getting stuff done and that our open and unconventional culture feels like home. What can your day look like?

In the morning at 9:45 am we have a standup meeting with the team in which we discuss what we did the day before and what we are going to work on today. Then we check whether code needs to be reviewed and whether product backlog items needs to be refined. Once that is done we check which tasks are open for the current sprint and we take on what is most important.

At noon we do lunch all together at the office canteen or you can choose to stroll through the green Westerpark which is just around the corner. Then, we work on everything from the front-end to the back-end, HTML, CSS, PHP, databases and to various sites. So in that respect, your job will be quite varied. We also do system management (Linux servers). After work, you can choose to play some pool, join our yoga class or have a beer at the Friday night work drinks. 

Skills & requirements

  • Substantial knowledge of PHP and MySQL
  • Knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
  • Experienced in using MVC frameworks such as Kohana, Zend or Symfony
  • Solid understanding of OOP
  • Experience with REST services
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Basic Linux administration skills on Debian based systems
  • Experience with distributed VCS'es like git or mercurial
  • Working knowledge of networking and infrastructure like smtp, dns, ntp, etc.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.

Bonus points if you have any experience with TDD, Continuous Integration, LXC, KVM, Python, Postgres or Scrum.

You are going to work with everything concerning our ERP/ Odoo, from integration to the development of new modules. You will be testing the systems all work correctly and you maintain test environments and databases. You are the main technical advisor concerning ERP/ Odoo.
